STUDY LOCATIONS

Q1: Where will students study in this programme?


A1: Students in the programme will study in both Thailand and the United Kingdom.

• Years 1–3: The University of Nottingham, United Kingdom
• Years 4–6: Srinakharinwirot University (Ongkharak Campus), Nakhon Nayok, Thailand

Q2: Is accommodation provided for students studying in Thailand?


A2: Yes. Accommodation is available at Srinakharinwirot University, Ongkharak Campus. Students are required to pay the accommodation fees according to university regulations.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Q3: Are there any medical conditions that may affect eligibility for admission?


A3: Applicants must not have any serious communicable diseases or medical conditions that may interfere with their ability to study medicine.

Q4: Can applicants who were dismissed from another university apply?


A4: No. Applicants who were dismissed due to inappropriate conduct or disciplinary reasons are not eligible to apply.

Q5: Will previous academic misconduct affect eligibility?


A5: Yes. Applicants with a record of examination misconduct within the past three years will not be eligible for admission.

Q6: What personal qualities are expected from applicants?


A6: Applicants should demonstrate responsibility, integrity, discipline, attention to detail, and professionalism appropriate for medical studies.

Q7: Can applicants who completed non-formal education apply?


A7: Yes. Applicants may apply if their qualifications comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education (B.E. 2544 / 2001).

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

Q8: What is the minimum age requirement for applicants in the 2026 intake?


A8: Applicants must be at least 17 years old by 1 August 2025 (born before 1 August 2008).

Q9: Can applicants currently studying medicine in Thailand or the United Kingdom apply?


A9: No. Applicants currently enrolled in a medical programme are not eligible to apply unless they officially withdraw from their medical studies before 2 December 2025 and have never previously studied at a university in the United Kingdom.

Q10: What high school study plan is required?


A10: Applicants must have completed a Science–Mathematics programe with at least 22 credits in Science and 12 credits in Mathematics.

Q11: What is the minimum GPA requirement?


A11: Applicants must have:
• A cumulative GPA (Grades 10–11 / M.4–M.5) of at least 3.00
• A minimum GPA of 3.00 in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics individually

Q12: What English language qualification is required?


A12: Applicants must submit a valid IELTS (Academic UKVI) result with:
• An overall band score of at least 7.0
• A minimum score of 6.5 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)

The test result must remain valid for at least six months at the time of application.

Q13: Is BMAT or AKAT required?


A13: Yes. Applicants must submit either a BMAT result (taken within the past two years) or an AKAT result. There is no minimum score requirement.
