Specific Qualifications of Eligible Applicants
1. Nationality and Age
o Applicants must be of Thai nationality and at least 17 years of age by August 31st of the application year.
2. English Proficiency
o IELTS (UKVI Academic) with an overall band score of at least 7.0, with no individual band (listening, speaking, reading, writing) below 6.5.
3. Admission Test
o Aptitude Knowledge Admission Test (AKAT): No minimum score required.
Group 1:
Graduated or currently studying in Mathayom 6 (Grade 12) under the Basic Education Core Curriculum from the Thai Ministry of Education, expected to graduate in the Science–Mathematics program, with:
At least 22 credits in Science subjects, and
At least 12 credits in Mathematics subjects.
Additional conditions:
1. A cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 from Mathayom 4 (Grades 10) until the time of application.
2. An average GPA of at least 3.00 in Biology, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Physics.
o These academic standards must be maintained until graduation.
o (If already graduated, the overall cumulative GPA will be considered.)
Group 2:
Graduated or currently studying in an international school in Thailand.
Additional conditions:
1. Applicants must meet the academic criteria based on their respective education systems:
1.1) A Level System
Must have at least 3 GCE ‘A’ level subjects, with minimum grades as follows:
Biology ≥ B
Chemistry ≥ B
Mathematics or Physics ≥ B
If still studying, applicants must provide GCE ‘O’ level or IGCSE scores:
Biology and Chemistry ≥ A
Mathematics or Physics ≥ B
Must also provide pre-determined grades of at least B in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics.
1.2) IB System
Must complete the IB Diploma with at least 30 points from a minimum of 5 subjects.
Must have a minimum score of 4 in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics.
If still studying, applicants must provide pre-determined IB scores of at least 5 in these subjects.
1.3) AP System (U.S. Curriculum)
Must have completed a High School Diploma from an international school in Thailand with a GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent.
Must have Advanced Placement (AP) scores in three subjects:
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP Physics or AP Mathematics (Calculus)
Each AP subject must have a minimum score of 4.
If still studying, applicants must provide a school-issued certification confirming their enrollment and an expected score of above 4 in all required subjects.
Group 3:
Graduated or currently studying in an international school abroad.
Additional conditions:
1. Applicants must meet the academic criteria based on their respective education systems:
1.1) A Level System
Must have at least 3 GCE ‘A’ level subjects, with minimum grades as follows:

Chemistry ≥ B
Mathematics or Physics ≥ B

At least 60 credits at Level 2, and
At least 20 credits at Level 1 or higher.
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, with individual subject scores in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics also not lower than 3.0.
(If already graduated, the overall GPA will be considered.)
